HOW TO USE A PRESET WORKOUT 1. Insert the key into the console. See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 15. 2. Select one of the preset workouts. To select one of the sixteen preset workouts, press one of the Workout Select buttons repeatedly until the desired workout appears in the display. As each preset workout is selected, the maximum speed setting and the maximum incline setting of the workout will ash in the lower display for a few seconds. In addition, the duration and name of the workout will appear in the display and a prole of the speed settings of the workout will scroll across the upper display. 3. Start the walking belt. Press the Start button or the Speed increase button to start the workout. A moment after you press the button, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the rst speed and incline settings for the workout. Hold the handrails and begin walking. tones will sound. If a different speed and/or incline setting is programmed for the next segment of the workout, the new speed and/or incline setting will ash in the display to alert you. The treadmill will then automatically adjust to the speed and/or incline setting for the next segment. The workout will continue in this way until the last segment of the prole ashes in the display and the last segment ends. The walking belt will then slow to a stop. If the speed or incline setting for the current segment is too high or too low, you can manually override the setting by pressing the Speed or Incline buttons; however, when the current segment of the workout ends, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next segment. To change the intensity level of the entire program, press the Intensity increase and decrease buttons. To stop the workout at any time, press the Stop button. To restart the workout, press the Start button or the Speed increase button. The walking belt will begin to move at 2 Km/H. When the next segment of the workout begins, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for that segment. 4. Follow your progress with the displays. Each workout is divided into 30 one-minute segments. One speed setting and one incline setting are programmed for each segment. Note: The same speed setting and/or incline setting may be programmed for consecutive segments. See step 5 on page 16. 5. Measure your heart rate if desired. See step 6 on page 16. During the work- out, the prole will show your prog- ress. The ashing segment of the prole represents Current Segment the current seg- ment of the workout. Select one of the preset workouts.

workouts,
press one of
the Workout
Select buttons repeatedly until the desired workout
appears in the display.
As each preset workout is selected, the maximum

ment is too high or too low, you can manually over-
ride the setting by pressing the Speed or Incline
buttons;
however,
when the current segment of
the workout ends, the treadmill will automati-
cally adjust to the speed and incline settings
for the next segment.
