This may be the only item in the list. Press Enter. 6. At the Select An Image screen, you will see information describing your tape drive, the date of the existing ROM version, and the date of the latest ROM version. Press Enter. 7. Review the information on the Caution screen. Press Enter to reprogram the system ROM or Esc to discontinue reprogramming and return to the Select An Image screen. A message that says: Reprogramming Firmware indicates that the option ROM is being reprogrammed. Do not interrupt ROM reprogramming. CAUTION: Do not interrupt this cycle. Interrupting the ROM reprogramming leaves the firmware in an unknown state. You may not be able to use the tape drive if this happens. You are notified when reprogramming is completed. a. When the Options ROMPaq is finished reprogramming the system ROM, press Esc to exit the System ROMPaq utility. b.
