About tab features Follow these steps to gain access to the About tab. 1. Click Start, and then click the following according to which version of Microsoft Windows is installed: ● For Microsoft Windows 2000, click Settings, and then click Printers. ● For Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Windows Server 2003, click Printers and Faxes. ● For Microsoft Windows XP Home, click Printers and Other Hardware Devices. 2. Right-click the printer name, and then click Properties. 3. Click the About tab. The About tab provides detailed information about the driver. It contains an overall build number (in parentheses following the model name) along with specific information about each of the components. The information varies according to the HP Color LaserJet 2700 model number, driver, date, and version numbers.
