Table 7-29 Causes for poor fusing (continued) Cause The fuser pressure roller is dirty. The fuser is not within nip-width specifications. The fuser sleeve is scarred or damaged. The pressure roller is scarred or damaged. The thermistor has deteriorated. The fuser pressure release motor is defective or is not connecting.
