portSwap 2 portSwap Synopsis Swaps area numbers of two ports. portswap [slotnumber1/]portnumber1 [slotnumber2/]portnumber2 Description Use this command to swap area numbers for a pair of ports. Both ports must be disabled prior to executing this command and the port-swapping feature must be enabled using portSwapEnable. The result of this operation is persistent across reboots and power cycles. To undo a previous port swap, execute portSwap again on the same two ports. portSwap information is kept in its own database; it cannot be manipulated by editing the configuration database displayed by configShow and configUpload. Note The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command Availability" for details.
