The program confirms that the firmware on the CD is more current than the product firmware. Click the Next button to continue the update process. 5. The update program opens a progress bar dialog box. When the process is complete, click the Close button. ● If the firmware on the software CD is older than the firmware on the product, you will need to download the firmware update file from www.hp.com/go/ljcp5220series_software and save the file to a computer. Refer to the product install notes for instructions on how to install the firmware update file on the product. NOTE: When you update the firmware, the HP Printer Update utility can no longer run from the CD. It must be updated from the Web: www.hp.com/go/ljcp5220series_software. ENWW Firmware updates 239
