9 Customer support The information in "Troubleshooting" and "Printer lights reference" suggests solutions to common problems. If your printer is not operating properly and the suggestions do not solve your problem, try using one of the following support services to obtain assistance. Toolbox The Toolbox is available only if you installed the printer driver through Setup.exe. Clicking the Troubleshooting button on the Information tab provides easy step-by-step solutions to common printing problems. You should be able to resolve most printing problems by following the provided solutions step-by-step. To open the Toolbox, click Start, point to Programs, hp deskjet 9600 series, and then click hp deskjet 9600 series Toolbox. Or in the status area of the Windows taskbar (near the clock), click the Toolbox icon. HP Instant Support HP Instant Support is a web-based tool that provides product-specific services, troubleshooting tips, and information about your printer's ink and media usage. You must have an Internet connection to use HP Instant Support. To access HP Instant Support, open the Toolbox and click HP Instant Support on the Information tab.
