Remove the fan (see Fan on page 39). Remove the heat sink on models with discrete graphics:: NOTE: The heat sink can be removed without removing the system board. 1. Remove the conductive tape from the memory cover and the top of the heat sink (1). You do not have to remove the tape from both covers to remove the heat sink. 2.
