Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 24). 2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 25). 3. Disconnect the battery (see Battery on page 27). 4. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 34). Remove the system board covers: 1. Memory cover: Remove the conductive tape from on top of the memory cover (1). 2. Lift the cover off the system board (2). TIP: The cover is held in place by small clips on the system board. Be sure to insert the edges of the cover into the clips when installing the cover. 3.
