3. Clean and reapply thermal material from the surfaces of the system board components (1) (3) and the heat sink (2) (4) each time the heat sink is removed. Remove the heat sink on models with UMA graphics:: 1. Remove the conductive tape from the memory cover and the top of the heat sink (1). You do not have to remove the tape from both covers to remove the heat sink. 2. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (2) that secure the heat sink, and then remove the heat sink from the system board (3). Component replacement procedures 35
