Reverse this procedure to install the USB board. Subwoofer Description Subwoofer (includes cables and 2 rubber isolators) Spare part number 686926-001 Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 47), and then remove the following components: a. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 48) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 52) c. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 56) d. Top cover (see Top cover on page 65) e. Speakers (see Speakers on page 84) f. USB board (see USB board on page 86) Remove the subwoofer: 1. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×2.0 broad head screws (1) that secure the subwoofer to the base enclosure. Component replacement procedures 87
