Removal and Replacement Procedures 5.18 Charger Board Charger Board Spare Part Number Information Charger board The charger board shield is included in the Miscellaneous Plastics/Hardware Kit, spare part number 285541-001. 285525-001 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3). 2. Remove the palm rest (Section 5.14). 3. Remove the three TM2.5 × 5.0 screws 1 that secure the charger board to the base enclosure (Figure 5-37). 4. Lift the front edge of the charger board shield 2 until it clears the base enclosure, then slide the shield forward to remove it. 5-46 Maintenance and Service Guide
