Removal and Replacement Procedures 5. Remove the three TM2.5 × 5.0 screws 1 that secure the top cover to the base enclosure (Figure 5-40). 6. Lift the top cover straight up 2 approximately one inch, then slide it forward 3 until the microphone cable 4 is exposed. 7. Disconnect the microphone cable 5 from the system board. 8. Remove the microphone 6 from the top cover. 9. Remove the top cover from the base enclosure. Figure 5-40.
