2 Procedures Procedures for working with HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow and Blue. Cleaning the ink station before building the HP Indigo Invisible ElectroInks As the HP Indigo Invisible ElectroInks are transparent, they are more sensitive to contamination. Therefore, the ink station to be used with HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible Yellow / Blue must be clean. NOTE: It is recommended to run the OFIR (On-press Fast Ink Replacement) wizard several times, until the ink pathway between the ink tank and the BID are completely clean, with no traces of previously used ink. Make sure that OFIR is activated with the previously installed BID (so not to contaminate the new BID). Use either a new BID or a BID previously used with HP Indigo ElectroInk Invisible. (DO NOT mix colors). After several OFIR cycles, make sure the components listed below are also clean. (If they are not, clean them manually). ● Ink tank ● BID-FI ● Hoses leading from ink tank to BID NOTE: If the previous color installed on this station was a dark ink, consider running additional OFIR cycles. After completing several OFIR cycles, and before building the Invisible ink, make sure that the imaging oil is clear. NOTE: For more information on the OFIR, refer to the document "On-press Fast Ink Replacement" (CA394-00760).
