If you are replacing a reusable material cartridge, wait (about 10 seconds) until the front panel tells you that the printer is ready to receive the new cartridge. 7. Insert the new cartridge into the slot until the lock icon turns on. There is no need to rotate it: just push it straight in. 8. Close the material door. 9. Tap Finish and check on the front panel. During the normal lifetime of a cartridge, no specific maintenance is required. However, to maintain the highest quality, replace a cartridge when it reaches its expiration date.
