HP Kayak XU PC Workstation - Installing Accessories In Your HP PC Workstation Installing Memory NOTE To ease installation, place your PC Workstation on its side with the system board facing upwards. 6 Insert the memory module into the slot at 90º to the system board (with the cutouts furthest from the processor). Insert the memory module into the slot at 90º to the system board Memory module cutouts Push the module until the retaining clips click into position. 7 Firmly press the memory module completely into the connector until the retaining clips click into position. 8 Repeat this procedure for each additional memory module you want to install. 9 Install any other accessories if necessary, then replace all units and reconnect all cables and power cords. Replace the cover (refer to page 4) and the airflow guide (refer to page 5). 10 Check the HP Summary Screen to verify the new configuration. English 7
