1 Installing Your Multimedia Sound Kit Installing the Accessory Software Under OS/2 Warp Installing the Sound Board Driver CAUTION 15 Double-click on the Multimedia folder. 16 Double-click on the Multimedia Application Install folder. 17 Insert the HP Multimedia Sound CD in the CD-ROM drive. 18 In the installation window, select the drive letter that corresponds to the CD-ROM drive (D: or E:) and click on the Install button. 19 Select the os2 directory, click on Sound Galaxy, and click on the Install button. 20 Click on the Yes button in the Change CONFIG.SYS dialog box. 21 Select 1 when the system asks you to select the total number of Sound Galaxy sound boards. 22 Click on the OK button to accept the default settings for the sound board. The system updates the CONFIG.SYS file. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. 23 Shut down and restart the PC. To change the sound board settings at any time, repeat this installation procedure. Do not use Selective Install. If you change the sound board settings using Selective Install, you may lose the sound functions. If this happens, reinstall the sound board driver as described above. English 15
