Chapter 4 Connecting the Network Cable Connect the Wake on LAN Power Cable For the Wake on LAN (WOL) feature to work correctly, the adapter must be connected to a continuous power source. NetWare Users The server drivers use the PCI slot number to identify each installed adapter. 8 Choosing Adapter Teaming Options The HP NetServer 10/100 adapter provides several options for increasing throughput and fault tolerance when running Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 or NetWare 4.2 or newer: NOTE Use of the teaming features requires HP Server adapters.
