3. Review all caps are correctly inserted in place and are flat. Reinstert any incorrectly placed printheads. Daily routines for printing Ensure the system is in optimal condition for printing. Automatical process The Print station was designed to perform a thorough automatic servicing of printheads, supplemented by nozzle health checks as part before printing. This process is variable in time since the total turnaround time will depend on: ● Time since the last servicing, which is usually after the previous job. The routine will be shorter and less intensive if last servicing happened within the last 24 hours and much longer if it was two or more days ago. ● Status of faulty nozzles. If nozzle checks find significant a amount of nozzles faulty, extra time will be spent to recover them. Additional nozzles checks for recovery effectiveness are be performed. Manual process These automatic checks can be moved away from the checks before print by manually requesting a Drop Detection (preferably) or printing a Printhead Status Plot during the 2 hours prior to the actual print. At the front panel, tap the Maintenance icon, then Printheads, then in the top right corner, tap the small Settings icon and choose the recovery level you want to perform. You can avoid the automatic checks by performing a drop detection (preferably) or by printing a printhead status plot two hours before printing. On the Front Panel, select the Maintenance icon , then Printheads, select the Settings icon and choose which recovery process to perform. NOTE: Do not use Printhead Recovery 1 or Printhead Recovery 2 as to begin a routine. They are tougher so they can resuscitate a printhead with many non-firing nozzles. They are too harsh for healthy printheads and they will also waste a lot of binder agent and cleaning roll. Daily routines for printing
Ensure the system is in optimal condition for printing.

Time since the last servicing, which is usually after the previous job. The routine will be shorter and

Status of faulty nozzles. If nozzle checks find significant a amount of nozzles faulty, extra time will be
spent to recover them. Additional nozzles checks for recovery effectiveness are be performed.
Manual process
These automatic checks can be moved away from the checks before print by manually requesting a
Drop Detection (preferably) or printing a Printhead Status Plot during the 2 hours prior to the actual print.
At the front panel, tap the Maintenance icon, then Printheads, then in the top right corner, tap the small
Settings icon and choose the recovery level you want to perform. You can avoid the automatic checks by
performing a drop detection (preferably) or by printing a printhead status plot two hours before printing.

healthy printheads and they will also waste a lot of binder agent and cleaning roll.
