Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad button board. Display assembly Description Spare part number 25.7 cm (10.1 in) display assembly (includes display panel cable, 2 WLAN antenna transceivers and cables, 2 WWAN antenna transceivers and cables, and webcam/microphone module and cable): ● HD, flush glass display assembly, Charcoal 650712-001 ● HD, flush glass display assembly, Crimson Red 650717-001 ● HD, flush glass display assembly, Luminous Rose 650716-001 ● HD, flush glass display assembly, Ocean Drive 650713-001 ● HD, flush glass display assembly, Sweet Purple 654201-001 ● WSVGA, flush glass display assembly, Charcoal 650719-001 ● WSVGA, flush glass display assembly, Crimson Red 650724-001 ● WSVGA, flush glass display assembly, Luminous Rose 650723-001 ● WSVGA, flush glass display assembly, Ocean Drive 650720-001 ● WSVGA, flush glass display assembly, Sweet Purple 654202-001 Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37). 5. Remove the service access cover (see Service access cover on page 38). 6. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 39). 7. Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables from the WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 41). 8. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 48). 9. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 54). Remove the display assembly: 1. Close the computer. 2. Position the computer upside down, with the front toward you. 3. Remove the back corner rubber feet (1). 4. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0x5.0 screws (2), one beneath each rubber foot. Component replacement procedures 59
