Power connector Description Power connector Spare part number 646095-001 Before removing the power connector, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37). 5. Remove the service access cover (see Service access cover on page 38). 6. Disconnect the hard drive cable from the system board (see Hard drive on page 45). 7. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 39). 8. Disconnect the WWAN antenna cables from the WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 41). 9. Remove the following components: a. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 48). b. Top cover (see Top cover on page 54). c. Display assembly (see Display assembly on page 59). d.
