Installing the Recessed Mounting Brackets Relocating the Control Panel The control panel and the control panel bezel must be relocated to fit the Compaq rack-compatible NetServer bezel. Relocate the control panel and its bezel, as follows: 1. Remove the control panel bezel from the NetServer by pressing in on the clips on either side of the bezel. 2. Unscrew the two screws securing the control panel to the chassis. 3. Unhook the control panel from the face of the chassis see Figure 3-11. A ribbon cable still connects it to the NetServer. 19

Relocating the Control Panel
The control panel and the control panel bezel must be relocated to fit the Compaq
rack-compatible NetServer bezel. Relocate the control panel and its bezel, as
follows:
1.
Remove the control panel bezel from the NetServer by pressing in on the
clips on either side of the bezel.
2.
Unscrew the two screws securing the control panel to the chassis.
3. Unhook the control panel from the face of the chassis see Figure 3-11. A
ribbon cable still connects it to the NetServer.
