6. Release the keyboard cable (3) from the opening in the top cover. 7. Remove the keyboard. Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard. Bluetooth module NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 603924-001. Description Bluetooth module Spare part number 537921-001 Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38), and then remove the following components: a. Memory module/wireless module compartment cover (see Memory module on page 39) b. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 50). c. Top cover (see Top cover on page 51) Remove the Bluetooth module: 1. Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (1) from the system board. 2. Release the Bluetooth module cable from the clips (2) and routing channel built into the base enclosure. 3. Release the Bluetooth module from the clips (3) built into the base enclosure. Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see

), and then remove the following components:
a.
Memory module/wireless module compartment cover (see

b.
Optical drive (see

c.
Top cover (see

Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable
(1)
from the system board.
2.
Release the Bluetooth module cable from the clips
(2)
and routing channel built into the base
enclosure.
3.
Release the Bluetooth module from the clips
(3)
built into the base enclosure.
