Problem Possible cause Solution The memory card is damaged or is not formatted. Format the memory card or replace it with a new, formatted card. The flash is recharging. Wait until the flash icon on the status LCD stops blinking before taking another flash photo. The camera is connected to a computer. (The letters "PC" appear on the status LCD.)
