Solid-state drive Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps: 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 31). 2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 32). 3. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 35). 4. Remove the drive cage (see Drive cage on page 36). Remove the solid-state drive: 1. Remove the Phillips screw (1) that secures the solid-state drive to the computer chassis. 2. Remove the solid-state drive (2) by pulling it away from the connector. NOTE: Solid-state drives are designed with notches to prevent incorrect insertion. Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive. 42 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Remove the solid-state drive:
1.
Remove the Phillips screw

that secures the solid-state drive to the computer chassis.

NOTE:
Solid-state drives are designed with notches to prevent incorrect insertion.
Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive.
