H-2 Compaq ProLiant CL380 User Guide Separate Logical SCSI Buses The key part of the ProLiant CL380 SCSI ID configuration is to understand that there are two separate logical SCSI buses, each with its own SCSI ID numbering (see Figure H-1). The CR3500 Controllers participate in both the Host Side Bus and the Disk Side Bus. Because there are two logical SCSI buses, it is possible for it to appear that there are duplicate SCSI IDs in the system. However, because the buses are separate, each bus may use the same SCSI IDs.
