4 Chapter Installing Hardware Options The following instructions provide detailed procedures for installing hardware option upgrades. For additional information refer to the Compaq ProLiant CL380 Hardware Installation and Configuration poster included in the shipping box or the labels attached to the inside of the system access panels. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment, comply with all warnings and cautions throughout the installation instructions. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment, the installation of options other than hot-plug components should be performed only by individuals who are qualified in servicing computer equipment and trained to deal with products capable of producing hazardous energy levels. CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Be sure you are properly grounded before beginning any installation procedure.
