Configuring the Product Enabling or Disabling Host Control Perform this procedure to enable or disable host control of the product through the OSMS. The OSMS feature must be installed to access this control. Refer to Installing Feature Keys on page 2-22 for instructions. If the feature is not installed, the message Feature not installed displays. To enable or disable host control: 1. Choose Configure from the navigation panel. 2. Choose the Management tab and the OSMS tab. The OSMS tab view displays (Figure 2-10). Figure 2-10: Enabling OSMS host control 3. Perform one of the following steps as required: a. Click Enable to activate the OSMS. The message Your changes to the host control enable state have been successfully activated displays. b. Click Disable to deactivate the OSMS. The message Your changes to the host control enable state have been successfully activated displays. 2-18 embedded web server user guide
