Alternatively, you can select Start > Run and run the command perfmon /wmi. 2. Select HP DSM High Performance Provider performance object and add the appropriate counters. HP MPIO MSA DSM persistent reservation clear utility The HP MPIO MSA DSM persistent reservation clear utility enables you to view and clear reservations on the disk(s) that are left behind due to incorrect installation or removal of the HP MPIO MSA DSM or an unsuccessful cluster node failover. CAUTION: Using this utility, may result in loss of data and/or incorrect operation of Failover Cluster. HP shall not be liable for problems resulting from the incorrect use of this utility or for solving them. The persistent reservation clear utility is located on the HP MPIO MSA DSM installation media, and gets copied to the HP MPIO MSA DSM installation directory during the installation. You can run this utility either on a system that has the MP MPIO MSA DSM installed or on a system where HP MPIO MSA DSM in not installed. To run this utility on a system where HP MPIO MSA DSM is installed, complete the steps below: 1. Select Start > Programs > Hewlett-Packard > MSA DSM > HPDSM PR Utility. 2. Enter the command hpprutil /? at the command prompt to display the instructions for using this utility.
