Fibre Channel Storage Hub 12 A Fibre Channel Storage Hub 12 enables multiple servers and tape devices to connect to a Fibre Channel loop. A single storage hub allows up to 12 GBIC direct Fibre Channel connections for a centralized backup solution. For example, eight servers can be connected to the storage hub, leaving four available ports for connections to Fibre Channel Tape Controllers. The storage hub is a rackmountable unit with a 1U form factor.
