This browser or control panel-based utility provides a quick check of storage devices including serial numbers, firmware versions, status checks, and even firmware downloading for future enhancements. Compaq Diagnostics for Windows Web Enabler Utility The Compaq Diagnostics Utility is a service tool designed to allow you to view information about your computer's hardware and software configuration and perform diagnostic testing. Compaq Diagnostics also takes advantage of the Internet and Intranet technologies prevalent in the industry and participates as part of the Web Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) initiative.
