Label é Also called volser. é Valid characters are A-Z, 0-9, # (crosshatch), or trailing blanks. é Leading blanks are not permitted. Library Name This is the assigned name that maps to the Internet Protocol (IP) address for a library. The library name is assigned by your system administrator. Library Report The library report function generates a report that consists of the following information: é Library name é Library serial number é Number of CAPs in the library é Number of panels in the library é Number of drives é Library status, such as Ready é Revision information é Network settings é Device ID's Media Type The valid media types are : é DLT IV (DLT 8000) é 9840 é LTO Ultrium1 (LTO Ultrium) Mount/Dismount During the Mount/Dismount, the tape is inserted in (mounted) and removed from (dismounted) from a drive in order to test the functionality of the drive. The maximum number of loops allowed is 200. Position A position is the cell location by panel, row, and column. Put A put is when the robotic hand loads a cartridge into a storage cell. Reserved Cells The cells in the library in which only cleaning cartridges, diagnostic cartridges, or swapped data cartridges may reside. Only one of these cells is a swap cell. Do not insert a data cartridge in a reserved cell, or the library will not see the cartridge.
