Transmitter Back 4.2 432 1 432 1 Antenna Receiver Back 432 1 432 1 12 3 4 4 = off (apagado) 3 = on (encendido) 2 = on (encendido) 1 = on (encendido) DIP Switches When two or more fans are located near each other, you may want to have the receiver/transmitter for each fan set to a diff erent code, so that the operation of one fan does not affect the operation of the other fans. 4.3 Jumpers 4 = off (apagado) 3 = on (encendido) 2 = on (encendido) 1 = on (encendido) 4 = off (apagado) 3 = on (encendido) 2 = off (apagado) 1 = on (encendido) 4.2 Toggle Switch 87 Make sure the jumpers settings in the remote transmitter (87) match the DIP switch settings in the remote receiver (86). If they don't match, the transmitter will not function. The jumpers are very small. You can remove them easily using a small pair of pliers or tweezers. There is a toggle switch beside the DIP switches on the transmitter (87). Move the toggle switch toward the side that reads "CFL" if you are going to operate the fan with the included CFL bulbs. Move the switch to the opposite position if you are going to use incandescent bulbs. 87 4.4 199 Note: Remove the battery from the remote control transmitter if the product is to remain unused for an extended period of time. To remove the battery, remove the back cover of the remote control transmitter. Remove used batteries promptly. WARNING: Use only the Hunter Fan speed control supplied with this fan. Install the included 12-Volt, type GP23A battery (199) into the transmitter (87). Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Ensure the battery is installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -). Please contact your local battery recycling center for proper battery disposal information. 10 The remote control device complies with part 15 of the FCC rules.
