When you restart the server, the system displays a message indicating that the memory configuration has changed. The following illustration shows how to install DIMMs on the system board. Complete the following steps to install a DIMM: 1. Read the safety information beginning on page v and "Installation guidelines" on page 7. 2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cords and all external cables, if necessary; then, remove the top cover. 3.
