Endpoints Endpoints An endpoint represents an application component to which the system delivers outbound transactions. The following table lists the system available endpoints. Endpoint MXFLATFILE Handler FLATFILE MXIFACETABLE IFACETABLE MXXMLFILE XMLFILE MXCMDLINE CMDLINE Description Writes flat files to a specified directory location. Writes outbound transactions to local interface tables. Writes XML files to a specified directory location. Implements the CMDL handler. Takes a command and endpoint as input and uses the SSH protocol to invoke the command on the target system and return the results. Configuring Endpoints Perform the following steps to configure an endpoint: T Define the handler T Define the endpoint T Associate a handler to the endpoint T Optional: Define handler properties for the endpoint The handler defines the properties needed, and the endpoint provides the values for those properties. Use the predefined handlers or create new ones to enable additional physical entities, such as FTP servers.
