INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 5 Insert the elbow/duct assembly through the rear opening and press it onto the adapter duct. Secure in place with duct tape. The male end of the duct should protrude 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) out of your dryer to connect the remaining ductwork.
