OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Using your dryer WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS on page 3 before operating this appliance. Control panel # ITEM DESCRIPTION Press to turn your dryer on or off. If your dryer is on for more than 10 minutes without any buttons being pressed, it automatically turns off. 1 Cycle selector Turn to select the cycle for the type of load. The cycle you select determines the heat control for the cycle. The Normal, Bulky, Heavy Duty, Active Wear, Sanitize, Towels, Delicates, and Perm Press cycles are Sensor cycles. The Quick Dry, Time Dry (20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 min.), Air fluff, and Steam Refresh cycles are Manual cycles. For more information, see Dryer options and settings on page 41. 2 Signal Press to turn the buzzer sound on or off. When turned on, the Signal indicator lights up. Your selection is kept until you press the button again. 3 Steam Press to turn the Steam process on or off. When turned on, the Steam indicator lights up. This process helps prevent wrinkles and turns on after the laundry dryness level approaches Normal or above dryness. 4 Digital display Sensor cycle: The digital display shows the estimated remaining cycle time. Manual cycle: The display shows how long the cycle will run. Cycle 5 status display The Drying, Cooling, Done, and Wrinkle Care indicators light up to show which step of the cycle your dryer is in. The Clean Filter indicator lights up at the beginning of a cycle to remind you to clean the filter. Time 6 Adjust / Press these buttons repeatedly to adjust the drying time for Manual cycles.
