Electric and Gas Dryers Understanding the error codes Your dryer is equipped with an automatic error-monitoring system to detect and diagnose problems at an early stage. When an error occurs, your dryer beeps for five seconds every 15 minutes. ERROR CODE C9 E4 E5 POSSIBLE CAUSE The PCB failed. The humidity sensor failed. The temperature sensor failed. SOLUTIONS Call customer service for help. Do not use your dryer. Your dryer will complete the current operating cycle but garments could be over dried.
