Chapter 2 - Configuring and Managing ITE The Windows Mobile Start menu and the HipVoice start menu appear. You can go to the HipVoice application to change contact information, login into a new session, send sticky notes, or have a conversation. Note: If you press the PTT button when ITE is running, HipVoice momentarily comes to the foreground and then control is returned to ITE. To return control back to ITE, tap Start > ITE. Using ITE with iTalkie Tap the Voice button in the ITE Toolbar to launch iTalkie. You can also select the silent interface to keep iTalkie running in the background as you use ITE. Otherwise, iTalkie comes to the foreground each time you page someone or are paged by someone else. With the silent interface enabled, when someone calls your computer, a dialog box appears asking if you want to accept the call. • If you do not accept the call, ITE resumes. • If you accept the call, the dialog box disappears and your call begins, and the call continues until the caller terminates the call. You can continue to use ITE while you are in the call. About VoIP Error Messages If there is a problem with your VoIP application, an error message may appear when you tap the Voice button.
