To change printer settings with the DIP switches

Open the battery door and remove the battery. The DIP switches
are located inside the battery compartment.
The DIP switches are numbered 1 to 8 from left to right. By
default, all DIP switches are off (toggled away from the
configuration label inside the compartment) except for switch 2.
