The FireWire adapter cable can be connected to the computer while the computer is running. 6-pin FireWire Port Connect the Iomega HDD External Hard Drive to a 6-pin FireWire Connection 1. Start your computer, wait for the operating system to load completely, then insert the installation CD to install the driver. If the installation does not start automatically, double click on the CD icon. The neccessary drivers will automatically be installed. Install the software after you have connected the drive to your computer. 2. Connect the FireWire adapter cable to the drive. 3. Connect the FireWire adapter cable to a FireWire port on the computer. Look for "1394," or the FireWire logo, which usually identifies the 6-pin FireWire connection. Connect the Iomega HDD External Hard Drive to a 6-pin FireWire Connection

Start your computer, wait for the operating system to load completely, then insert the installation CD to install the
