The Diagnostics window From this window you can access the diagnostic functions of the scanner. The Diagnostics window includes the following tabs: General, Debug and Logs. The Diagnostics window can be accessed via the Diagnostics button which is located on the General tab of the Device Settings window. Device - allows you to select which device to perform diagnostics on. The options are: Document Feeder or Flatbed. NOTE: This option is only available if you have the flatbed accessory attached when the scanning application connected to the scanner. Done - returns you to the Device Settings window. Diagnostics - General tab The General tab allows you to perform a scanner test and displays the scanner time. A-61560 January 2007 Tests • Scanner - similar to, but more extensive than, a power-on self test. Clicking this button will put the device through a series of checks to determine that all the scanner hardware is working. • Count only - check this box if you want to count the number of documents entering the scanner transport without actually sending the images to a scanning application. Scanner Time • Actual (GMT): displays the Greenwich Mean Time. • Corresponding local time: displays the local time. • Refresh icon : redisplays the current scanner time. 81

The Diagnostics
window
From this window you can access the diagnostic functions of the
scanner. The Diagnostics window includes the following tabs: General,
Debug and Logs. The Diagnostics window can be accessed via the

Device
