Cleaning the imaging guides 14. Wipe the upper and lower imaging area using a Brillianze Detailer wipe (Step 1) or Staticide wipe. Be careful not to scratch the imaging area when cleaning. Cleaning the flatbed glass (i3250/i3450 Scanners only) 15. Wipe the upper and lower imaging area again using a Brillianize wipe (Step 2) or an almost dry Staticide wipe to remove any streaks. 16. Close the scanner cover. 17. When finished with all cleaning procedures, turn on the scanner. The flatbed's glass platen can collect fingerprints and dust. Use Staticide Wipes for Kodak Scanners or Brillianize Detailer Wipes to clean the glass platen. 1. Open the flatbed cover. 2. Wipe the glass platen with a Brillianize wipe (Step 1) or Staticide wipe. 3. Dry the glass platen with a Brillianize wipe (Step 2) or almost dry Staticide wipe. 4. Close the flatbed cover. IMPORTANT:Do not spray or pour cleaning liquids on the flatbed's glass platen, as these liquids may seep under the glass and cause damage. 32 A-61771 September 2016
