Cleaning the flatbed glass (i3250/i3450 Scanners only) 15. Wipe the upper and lower imaging area again using a Brillianize wipe (Step 2) or an almost dry Staticide wipe to remove any streaks. 16. Close the scanner cover. 17. When finished with all cleaning procedures, turn on the scanner. The flatbed's glass platen can collect fingerprints and dust. Use Staticide Wipes for Kodak Scanners or Brillianize Detailer Wipes to clean the glass platen. 1. Open the flatbed cover. 2. Wipe the glass platen with a Brillianize wipe (Step 1) or Staticide wipe. 3. Dry the glass platen with a Brillianize wipe (Step 2) or almost dry Staticide wipe. 4. Close the flatbed cover.
