Turn off the computer and allow the computer to cool for one hour. 2. Open the computer cover. Refer to the "Opening the computer cover". 3. Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the system board. 4. While pressing the release button to lift the adapter latch and remove the adapter by pulling it straight out of the adapter connector. 5. Carefully take note of the location of all cable connections on the system board. It will be necessary to reconnect them properly when installing a new system board. Important Note the cable routing. It is important to route the cables the same way after you install the new system board. 6. Disconnect all cables connected to the system board. Refer to the "Identifying parts on the system board". 7. Remove the screws that secure the system board to the chassis. Replacing the system board
1.
Turn off the computer and allow the computer to cool for one hour.
2.
Open the computer cover. Refer to the “Opening the computer cover”.
3.
Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to the system board.
4.

adapter by pulling it straight out of the adapter connector.
5.
