Flash memory option Flash memory is useful for storing information such as downloaded fonts and macros. Your printer driver or the MarkVisionTM utility can be used to download fonts, symbol sets, and macros to flash memory. Note: You cannot operate the printer with more than one flash memory card installed. Information stored in flash memory is retained when the printer is turned off. You can buy 2MB, 4MB, 8MB, or 16MB flash memory cards. Refer to the Technical Reference for more details about using your flash memory option. Installing a flash memory card If you need to remove a flash memory card, refer to the Lexmark C720 online information. 1 Complete the steps in "Removing the system board" on page 23 if the system board is still installed. Flash memory option
Flash memory is useful for storing information
such as downloaded fonts and macros. Your
printer driver or the MarkVision
TM
utility can be
used to download fonts, symbol sets, and macros
to flash memory.
Note:
You cannot operate the printer
with more than one flash memory card
installed.
Information stored in flash memory is retained
when the printer is turned off. You can buy 2MB,
4MB, 8MB, or 16MB flash memory cards.
