Notices 142 Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive The WEEE logo signifies specific recycling programs and procedures for electronic products in countries of the European Union. We encourage the recycling of our products. If you have further questions about recycling options, visit the Lexmark Web site at www.lexmark.com for your local sales office phone number. India E-Waste notice This product including components, consumables, parts and spares complies with the "India E-Waste Rules" and prohibits use of lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls or polybrominated diphenyl ethers in concentrations exceeding 0.1% by weight and 0.01% by weight for cadmium, except for the exemption set in the Rule. Product disposal Do not dispose of the printer or supplies in the same manner as normal household waste. Consult your local authorities for disposal and recycling options. EU battery directive This product may contain a coin‑cell lithium rechargeable battery. This product is in compliance with EU Directive 2006/66/EC as amended by Directive 2008/12/EC, 2008/103/EC, and 2013/56/EU. Returning Lexmark cartridges for reuse or recycling The Lexmark Cartridge Collection Program allows you to return used cartridges for free to Lexmark for reuse or recycling. One hundred percent of the empty cartridges returned to Lexmark are either reused or demanufactured for recycling. The boxes used to return the cartridges are also recycled.
