An incremental back up works the same way as described above but creates a new folder using the original back up folder name and adding a number to it to distinguish it from the earlier backup (Figure 30). If the incremental backup is done on the same date as the first backup, a number is added to the date as in the example below. If the date of the incremental backup is different from the original date, the new date be comes the default name. A notice about the additional folder appears. 1.
