Connect the USB data cable to the rear of the Ultra TravelDrive (Figure 1). 3. Connect the other end of the USB data cable to a USB port on your computer. Once you have connected the cable into the USB port, the blue Power and Activity LED will light up and your operating system will detect the drive. The USB speed indicator on the rear of the drives will light red if the USB port is the slower USB 1.1 and will light green if the port is the faster USB 2.0. a. The drive must be connected to an active USB 2.0 port for maximum performance. b. You may need to use the auxiliary USB power cable together with the USB data cable due to limited bus power on some computers. Figure 1. Windows 98SE requires the installation of USB drivers on the installation disc in order to work. Note the limitations above, under "Compatibility." 1. Connect the Ultra TravelDrive as in Steps 1-3 above. A dialogue box will appear asking what you want Windows to do. Select "Search for the best driver." Click "Next>." 2. Insert your installation CD into a drive on your computer. 3. Put a check mark in "Specify a location" and browse to the drive with the installation CD. Click "Next>." 4. Click "Next>" when the computer finds the drivers and "Finish" when the installation is complete. Page |

A. CONNECTING YOUR DRIVE
1. Turn on your computer and wait for it to finish loading.
2. Connect the USB data cable to the rear of the Ultra TravelDrive (Figure 1).
3. Connect the other end of the USB data cable to a USB port on your computer.
Once you have connected the
cable into the USB port, the blue Power and Activity LED will light up and your operating system will detect the
