❸ Turning on the Projector 1. Slide the lens cover to the left to uncover the lens. 2. Projecting an Image (Basic Operation) 2. Press the (POWER) button on the projector cabinet or the POWER ON button on the remote control. The POWER indicator will turn to blue and the projector will become ready to use. TIP: • When the message "Projector is locked! Enter your password." is displayed, it means that the [SECURITY] feature is turned on. (→ page 33) • When the ECO message is displayed, it means that [ON] is selected for [ECO MESSAGE]. (→ page 104) • Pressing buttons such as power button and MENU button will make sound. To turn off the beep sound, select [OFF] for [BEEP] from the menu. (→ page 109) Standby After you turn on your projector, ensure that the computer or video source is turned on and that the lens cover is open. Turning on the Projector
1. Slide the lens cover to the left to uncover the lens.
2. Press the
(POWER) button on the projector cabinet
or the POWER ON button on the remote control.
The POWER indicator will turn to blue and the projector
will become ready to use.
TIP:
• When the message “Projector is locked! Enter your password.”
