7: Supported GSM/WCDMA AT Commands 7 This chapter identifies standard AT commands that are supported by most NETGEAR AirCard devices. These commands: • Control serial communications over an asynchronous interface (ITU-T Serial Asynchronous Dialling and Control (Recommendation V.250), available on the International Telecommunication Union web site, www.itu.int). See Table 7-1 below. • Control SMS functions for devices on GSM/WCDMA networks (3GPP TS 27.005, available on the 3GPP web site, www.3gpp.org) See Table 7-2 on page 39. • Control devices operating on GSM/WCDMA networks (3GPP TS 27.007, available on the 3GPP web site, www.3gpp.org) See Table 7-3 on page 40. The tables below identify whether each command is supported on NETGEAR UMTS devices. An "N/A" in the Supported column of the table indicates that the command is related to a feature (such as voice) that is not available on the modems. Commands that are partially supported include descriptions identifying any limitations on command usage. Also, some commands are described in more detail in later chapters-the descriptions for these commands link to those detailed entries (for example, &V in Table 7-1 on page 37). 7: Supported GSM/WCDMA AT Commands
This chapter identifies standard AT commands that are supported by
most NETGEAR AirCard devices. These commands:
Control serial communications over an asynchronous interface
(
ITU-T Serial Asynchronous Dialling and Control (Recommen-
dation V.250
), available on the International Telecommunication
Union web site,
www.itu.int
).
See
Table 7-1
below.
Control SMS functions for devices on GSM/WCDMA networks
(
3GPP TS 27.005
, available on the 3GPP web site,
www.3gpp.org
)
See
Table 7-2
on page 39.
Control devices operating on GSM/WCDMA networks (
3GPP TS
27.007,
available on the 3GPP web site,
www.3gpp.org
)
See
Table 7-3
on page 40.
The tables below identify whether each command is supported on
NETGEAR UMTS devices. An “N/A” in the Supported column of the
table indicates that the command is related to a feature (such as
voice) that is not available on the modems.
Commands that are partially supported include descriptions
identifying any limitations on command usage. Also, some
commands are described in more detail in later chapters—the
descriptions for these commands link to those detailed entries (for
example,
&V
in
Table 7-1
on page 37).
